"Covid-Proof & social distancing".

Wij blijven bereikbaar**

Enthusiastic Mountain Adventures in les Ecrins – France away from the crowd.
Design you trip to the mountain with François Lombard (mountain guide) based in l’Argentière la Bessée. For families, couples or singles.
We are these days in an unknown situation, the Covid crisis is changing our perception of time and needs. We will keep the decision super flexible to adapt to states requirements.
Planing a trip in a wild mountain area with your family or your partner could be an opportunity to live an extraordinary adventure, learn, enjoy and at the same time remain safe.
Take a deep breath of fresh air, Francois will organize a progressive immersion in the nature. You will have time to discover the wild, experience the technique, dive in the high mountain range.
Managing risks is the most important part of a guide job and managing the Covid will be one of my priority.
The program will be tailor made. Co-create a program that will match your needs (we can use any channel to organize some meetings and take the time needed to find the best options regarding your technical, mental and fitness abilities).
François: Mountain guide since 15 years, I am an enthusiastic climber and skier my goal is now to minimize my impact while enjoying being in the mountains.

Depends on the evolution of the Covid rules.
In the valley:
Option 1
As a “Base camp”, François propose to rent his apartment sited in his own house.
It has a nice a living room/kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and another with a bunk bed) and a large bathroom. It is fully equiped and you can see it here: https://www.airbnb.fr/rooms/13197689

Option 2
Find another accommodation matching your needs:

  • Renting another apartment

    On the mountain:
Mountain huts might stay closed: we will have to organize “bivouacs”: sleep in tents and prepare our own food.
It is possible to set up a program with only day activities (to avoid sleeping outside).
We will as much as possible prepare our meals and support the local producers, restaurants might be open...
Trying to optimize the transportation will be important:
  • short drives,
  • use of public transport (only if possible with the Codiv requirements).
  • My car can take 5 persons including backpacks to reach the different activities parking.
Les Ecrins national park is a beautiful spot in the southern alps with a big number of options for all mountain activities and most important it is very wild and large so with a good plan we will see very few people during our tours.
